All About Me
In 2017, Wilma Lewis-Marshall launched Question Mobile Bar, a bartending service born from her love of entertaining and curating memorable gatherings. What began with cocktails and community soon evolved when Wilma decided to try her hand at making wine at home — starting with a classic grape batch.

A few months later, her father asked if the wine was ready. When he finally tasted it, he smiled and said, “Girl, this is some good wine.” That single sentence, filled with pride and warmth, would later become the spark behind something much bigger.

After the passing of her father in late 2020, Wilma chose to honor his memory in a meaningful way. She rebranded the business as 1949 WineHouse & More, a tribute to the year he was born. The rebrand marked a new chapter — expanding from bartending into handcrafted wines, luxury catering, and charcuterie artistry.
Today, 1949 WineHouse & More is more than a service — it's a boutique experience where wine, food, and heartfelt moments come together. Whether you're attending a tasting, hosting an event, or learning the art of charcuterie, you're stepping into a space built on tradition, flavor, and the love of bringing people together.
